JD Masters of Business Administration

2 Years On Campus Joint-masters Program

University of Montana Missoula

Program Overview

The joint program in law and business administration allows students to take advantage of the real world need for a combination of business and law and to complete their J.D. and M.B.A. in a shorter period of time than would be required if the degrees were taken consecutively without the joint program. The first year of study is as a full-time student in the School of Law. During the second and third years, students complete both law and business courses. Students who wish to participate in the joint program must satisfy the admission requirements for both the School of Business Administration M.B.A. Program and the Law School J.D. Program. Application to the Law program requires taking the LSAT, but the GMAT is not required by M.B.A. program. A student may request enrollment in the joint program at any time; however, these programs are simultaneous and students will benefit from enrolling early in each program.
