The Department of Philosophy offers a 5 year B.A.-M.A. degree in environmental philosophy. Students may apply for the program in February of their Junior year by sending an email to Deborah Slicer indicating that they would like to be considered for the program.In addition to general university requirements for B.A. and M.A. degrees, there are the following program specific requirements for the 5-year dual B.A.-M.A. degree in environmental philosophy are listed below. Whether one takes schedule A or schedule B is determined by what year a student enters the program.
A B.A. or B.S. degree, Grade point average of at least 3.0 for the M.A. degree and 3.2 for the doctorate on all college work, Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended., A letter of intent (maximum 1000 words) explaining your objectives in graduate studies and why you wish to pursue those studies in the at The University of Montana., Official GRE scores with a test date that is within the past five years, The TOEFL, IELTS or MELAB are also required of international applicants who are not graduates of an English-speaking university.
