Oceans support life at every level covering 70 per cent of Earth's surface, they are vital for the supply of food, water and medicine, as well as for transportation and trade. As concerns over the protection and the sustainable use of our marine resources grow at a significantly rapid rate, individuals with specialist skills and knowledge in the field play a key role in protecting this resource for generations to come. This unique interdisciplinary and cross-institutional course will train you to be part of a new generation of Australian marine scientists who have the skills necessary to take leading roles in protecting and conserving Australia's coastal and oceanic environments, whilst appreciating and respecting the positions of all stakeholders in this area.

Australian level 7 bachelor's qualification or recognised equivalent in science, marine science, or a related discipline, GPA of 4.50 (out of 7.00), Bachelor degree in relevant discipline (Science or Marine Science), GPA > 2.5., IELTS of 6.5 overall with minimum 6.0 in each band, or equivalent, senior secondary studies equivalent to the NSW HSC, one year of Australian or comparable tertiary study in a country of qualification, IB of 18, Bachelor degree which has been accredited by the professional accounting bodies in Australia, OWA of 55-66%, Completion of WASSC/SSC with B grade average in 5 relevant academic subjects
