Program Overview

This degree will teach you modern management methodologies and principles of project management and apply them across the various phases of the construction project development life-cycle. This degree will give you an advanced understanding of the construction project management body of knowledge, including established theories and recent developments relevant to the discipline and professional field. You will learn to apply construction project management principles and practices to new or complex environments. During your studies, you will plan and execute a research-based or professional project, undertake a capstone experience or complete a piece of work that involves substantial scholarship, particularly in the construction project management context.

An undergraduate degree in a relevant field such as building, construction management, construction economics, civil engineering, mining engineering, architecture, quantity surveying, property development and real estate, Professional experience in the construction industry of at least 12 months duration at a management level post completion of undergraduate degree, IELTS of 6.5 overall (min. 6.0 in each subtest), TOEFL ibT 90 overall (min. 23 in writing, 22 in reading, listening and speaking), PTE of 64 overall (min. 54 in each subtest), Successful completion with a minimum overall grade of C+ and a minimum grade of C in the writing component, CAE 176 overall (min.169 in each subtest), CPE 180 overall (min.180 in each subtest), ANU College Access Program Successful completion with a minimum of 70% overall, Grade C+ or 70% in English
