Program Overview

The Master of Teaching (Primary) will enable you to move into a career as a primary school teacher to teach Years 1 6 if you have successfully completed a three year undergraduate qualification. In addition to building the professional knowledge and skills required to teach, the program is designed to foster dispositions for engaging in and contributing to the teaching profession through a commitment to ongoing professional learning. The design of this course utilises CQUniversity's three term structure, therefore a two year Masters course can be fast tracked to be completed in one and a half years.

Additional Information & Requirements

Completion of a bachelor degree with the equivalent to an Australian pass grade average in the final two terms, from a recognised higher education institution, Test scores: IELTS of 6.0, TOEFL score of 75 with no score less than 17, PTE of 54 with no score less than 46, CAE score of 169.
