Discipline units focus on the role of the school library and the teacher-librarian, learning through engaging with contemporary texts, designing library spaces and cataloguing, classification, and database design. Teacher-librarianship will extend your knowledge of learning through using Web 2.0 and information and communication technology, critical evaluation and selection of children s literature, and inquiry-based learning, guided inquiry and information literacy.
