Curriculum Structure

Year 1

The first year develops students’ understanding of professional engineering practice in Australia, beginning with Australian Engineering Practice and then moving into subjects related to their chosen engineering major. Depending on the specialisation, students may study areas such as Geotechnical Engineering Design, Concrete Design, Steel and Masonry Design, or advanced subjects in electrical and mechanical engineering.

Year 2

Students in the accredited engineering majors complete an individual Capstone Project and a 12-week Internship Work Experience, giving them the opportunity to put their skills into practice in a real workplace environment.
