Program Overview

This specialisation will enable you to acquire an advanced understanding of domestic and international environmental law in an integrated and interdisciplinary context. You will gain specialised legal knowledge and research skills applicable to professional practice in a variety of areas including sustainable development, international environmental law, local government and planning law, climate change law, trade and environment law, environmental litigation and mediation, and biodiversity and biotechnology law. You will be able to demonstrate an advanced understanding of the principles of sustainable development and their application to environmental law and policy.

Australian level 7 bachelor's qualification or recognised equivalent, GPA of 4.50 (out of 7.00), A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from an accredited tertiary institution with a GPA of 2.5 out of 4, IELTS of 7.0 overall with minimum 6.5 in each band, or equivalent, senior secondary studies equivalent to the NSW HSC, one year of Australian or comparable tertiary study in a country of qualification, IB of 18, Bachelor degree which has been accredited by the professional accounting bodies in Australia, OWA of 55-66%, Completion of WASSC/SSC with B grade average in 5 relevant academic subjects
