Program Overview

This program is designed for teachers and/or educational administrators in the health professions who wish to develop their research skills by undertaking studies leading to the award of the degree of Master of Health Professions Education, either as full-time or part-time internal students or as students external to the University. The latter are required to spend a minimum of 14 weeks in the School during the program. The School of Public Health and Community Medicine is a leading Australian and regional school for the related disciplines of public health, health management and community medicine, with an extensive alumni network in Australia and the Asia Pacific region.

An MBBS or other medical degree (including such qualifications from another country), TOEFL ibT 90 overall (min. 23 in writing, 22 in reading, listening and speaking), PTE of 64 overall (min. 54 in each subtest), Successful completion with a minimum overall grade of C+ and a minimum grade of C in the writing component, CAE 176 overall (min.169 in each subtest), CPE 180 overall (min.180 in each subtest), ANU College Access Program Successful completion with a minimum of 70% overall, Grade C+ or 70% in English
