Program Overview

The Master of Culture, Health and Medicine (MCHAM) is the only program of its kind in Australia. Drawing on anthropological and other social science perspectives, and technical expertise in healthrelated research and practice, you will understand the nature of health, sickness, and healing in a local and global context. You will emerge with the skills to undertake social and cultural analysis of health policy and practices, and to effect change in a health setting.

Bachelor degree or international equivalent with a minimum GPA of 5.0/7.0, English Language Tests: Academic IELTS-An overall score of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component of the test., TOEFL paper based test-A score of 570 with a TWE* score of 4.5., TOEFL internet based test-An overall score of 80, with a minimum of 20 in Reading and Writing and 18 in Speaking and Listening, Cambridge CAE Advanced- An overall score of 176 with a minimum of 169 in all sub-skills, PTE Academic-An overall score of 64 with a minimum score of 55 in each of the communicative skills.
