If you are a medical radiation or other allied health professional and want to broaden your career prospects, this master degree may be for you. In just three years of part-time study you will extend your knowledge, practical skills and understanding of medical sonography, with the opportunity to learn advanced clinical skills, or pursue research.This is great news for students who want to study in among work and other life commitments, giving you the freedom to learn wherever, whenever. Practical learning is a major focus, with students embarking on 2,200 hours of ultrasound training and associated clinical placements. International students should note that the qualification is available only by online delivery in their home country. Theory examinations can be completed at external exam centres, however, all students will be required to attend clinical assessment at the University of South Australia.

Additional Information & Requirements

A medical radiation professional with a recognised Bachelor degree, or equivalent qualification, and have a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5 (credit average) or international equivalent/ hold a recognised Graduate Diploma in Medical Sonography or equivalent qualification and have a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5 (credit average) or international equivalent/ be an Accredited Medical Sonographer with 5 years accredited experience/ be an Accredited Medical Sonographer with 2 years accredited experience where accreditation was awarded following completion of a recognised Bachelor degree/ have completed a recognised higher education program at Bachelor degree level or higher from a recognised higher education institution, and have a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5 (credit average) or international equivalent, IELTS 7.0 in each componenet, India (best 4) at 88, TOEFL iBT of 94 with Reading and Writing not less than 18, CAE/CPE of 186, PTE of 65, CELUSA AE6
