Biostatistics is concerned with the design, analysis and interpretation of scientific data that is generated in the biomedical sciences. It is integral to the advancement of knowledge in areas such as clinical medicine, public health policy, health economics, and many others. This course, designed in collaboration with the Biostatistics Collaboration of Australia a consortium of biostatistical experts from around Australia will advance your career in disciplines such as public health, epidemiology, clinical trials and population genetics. You'll develop a sound mathematically based grounding in statistical methods with a strong emphasis on applications in all areas of health and medical research.
Australian level 7 bachelor's qualification or recognised equivalent in relevant field with a substantial laboratory component, GPA of 4.75 (out of 7.00), IELTS of 6.5 overall with minimum 6.0 in each band, or equivalent, senior secondary studies equivalent to the NSW HSC, one year of Australian or comparable tertiary study in a country of qualification, IB of 18, Bachelor degree which has been accredited by the professional accounting bodies in Australia, OWA of 55-66%, Completion of WASSC/SSC with B grade average in 5 relevant academic subjects
