Biological Science is the study of life and living organisms. It brings together and makes use of many areas of science and encompasses all aspects of plant and animal biology including how they interrelate with each other and interact in and with the environment. The importance of the study of Biological Science cannot be overemphasised in a world where the environments, on which plants and animals depend, are under constant threat. People with training in the biological sciences work in many areas related to the conservation and understanding of the environment and natural resources.

Honours degree (Class 2/1 or first class) in an appropriate field or equivalent performance in a Higher Degree Qualifying Program or Graduate Diploma by research, TOEFL ibT 90 overall (min. 23 in writing, 22 in reading, listening and speaking), PTE of 64 overall (min. 54 in each subtest), Successful completion with a minimum overall grade of C+ and a minimum grade of C in the writing component, CAE 176 overall (min.169 in each subtest), CPE 180 overall (min.180 in each subtest), ANU College Access Program Successful completion with a minimum of 70% overall, Grade C+ or 70% in English
