Fraud. Corruption. Terrorism. Domestic violence. Cybercrime. Vandalism. Car theft. Gun crime. Assault. Understanding who commits these types of crime, their motivations for doing so, how society responds to such crime and how the impact of crime can be alleviated are all the pursuit of criminologists. This course will develop your skills in advanced criminology theory, applied criminological research and criminal justice policy analysis. As a graduate you'll use your knowledge drawn from fields including sociology, psychology, psychiatry and social anthropology to better understand, measure and evaluate crime.

Additional Information & Requirements

Australian level 7 bachelor's qualification (or recognised equivalent) in the social sciences, or humanities, or related field; or Australian level 7 bachelor's qualification (or recognised equivalent) in any field with relevant work experience, GPA of 4.50 (out of 7.00), IELTS of 6.5 overall with minimum 6.0 in each band, or equivalent, senior secondary studies equivalent to the NSW HSC, one year of Australian or comparable tertiary study in a country of qualification, IB of 18, Bachelor degree which has been accredited by the professional accounting bodies in Australia, OWA of 55-66%, Completion of WASSC/SSC with B grade average in 5 relevant academic subjects
