The Master of Criminal Justice & Criminology is designed for graduates seeking an interdisciplinary specialised education at an advanced level in criminal justice law, policy, theory and practice. The program provides graduates from a variety of disciplines with a strong understanding of criminological and legal research, and legal and criminological perspectives on the practices and regulation of criminal justice institutions and processes. This program provides graduates (lawyers and non-lawyers) with a specialisation in contemporary criminal justice challenges across a diverse area (including areas such as international criminal law, fraud and money-laundering and human rights). This degree offers advanced career options for lawyers in criminal legal practice or in the development of public policy, both nationally and internationally.

Undergraduate degree - minimum credit average (65% or higher) as determined by the UNSW Postgraduate Coursework, a minimum two years' relevant professional experience, TOEFL ibT 90 overall (min. 23 in writing, 22 in reading, listening and speaking), PTE of 64 overall (min. 54 in each subtest), Successful completion with a minimum overall grade of C+ and a minimum grade of C in the writing component, CAE 176 overall (min.169 in each subtest), CPE 180 overall (min.180 in each subtest), ANU College Access Program Successful completion with a minimum of 70% overall, Grade C+ or 70% in English
