The promotion of international trade the exchange of capital, goods and services across international borders or territories is widely considered to be an indispensable element of international peace and stability. For such trade to thrive, countries must have laws that allow modern contract practices and guarantee the rule of law in business transactions. In this course, you'll extend your knowledge of the legal, governance and policy issues relevant to international and domestic trade and commerce, so that you develop a broad and well-rounded understanding of the area, as well as skills to advance your career.
Australian level 8 honours qualification or recognised equivalent in law, business, commerce, economics, international relations ore related discipline; or Australian level 7 bachelor's qualification in law, business, commerce, economics, international relations or related discipline and 18 months relevant professional experience or recognised equivalent, GPA of 4.50 (out of 7.00), IELTS of 6.5 overall with minimum 6.0 in each band, or equivalent, senior secondary studies equivalent to the NSW HSC, one year of Australian or comparable tertiary study in a country of qualification, IB of 18, Bachelor degree which has been accredited by the professional accounting bodies in Australia, OWA of 55-66%, Completion of WASSC/SSC with B grade average in 5 relevant academic subjectsCareers in Government departments and agenciesMultinational corporationsInternational organisations dealing with financeTrade and development issuesImport/export compliancePolicy and law reformNational businesses engaging in international markets
