Providing the 5th and 6th years of training required for your Membership of the Australian Psychological Society and your Associate Membership of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists, this course will develop your high-level theoretical knowledge and research skills in the areas of clinical and correctional psychology and forensic mental health and fine-tune your provision of appropriate professional therapies. You ll acquire in-depth assessment, counselling and data analysis skills and your individual thesis assessment and two years of work placement will qualify you for full registration as a psychologist, allowing you to practise in the areas of policy and research, youth work, human resources, program co-ordination or industrial relations.
