The interdisciplinary master s programme in Study of Religions aims at educating religious studies scholars in Austria. It strives to teach techniques and methods in the study of religions, work methods from the area of cultural studies, techniques for the presentation of intercultural problems and an understanding of processes in intercultural processes of mediation. The main contents of the master s programme are history of religions (including world religions, ethnic, (pre-)historic religions and modern religions), methods and contents in the comparative study of religions, dialogue between cultures, as well as problems and opportunities of intercultural social processes
