Program Overview

The MSc in Commercial Sciences produces graduates who boast an advanced level of expertise and competences of functioning at a scientific level in general and in the domain of business economics, in particular. In general, master graduates must be able to function in business or other organisations as a person with responsibility or expertise. To this end, they must boast general and specific professional competences that are needed to apply scientific expertise independently at the level of a professional beginner in middle or higher management.

Holders of an appropriate Belgian academic bachelor degree, Holders of a foreign university bachelor degree or higher education bachelor diploma: bachelor of minimum 3 years, In some cases applicants cannot be admitted directly to a master programme, but have to do a specific preparatory or linking course (between 45 and 90 ECTS credits) first, depending on their previous studies, English Language Requirement:TOEFL-TEST with a score of 560-676 (paper-based), or 95-119 (internet-based) or higher, IELTS with a minimum overall band score of 7.0 or higher, C1-certificate ITACE for students (Interuniversity test of academic English), awarded by the Ghent University Language Centre, C1-certificate from a university language centreCambridge-ESOL: Certificate in Advanced English (CAE), Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) with a score of 76-84
