The programme of the MSc in Agro- and Environmental Nematology is unique in the world and aims to train highly qualified nematologists with a multidisciplinary knowledge in the diverse fields of Nematology. Therefore, the courses deal with fundamental as well as applied aspects of Nematology and concern all groups of nematodes and all possible environments natural soils, agricultural soils, aquatic sediments of freshwater, brackish and marine habitats.
Holders of an appropriate Belgian academic bachelor degree, Holders of a foreign university bachelor degree or higher education bachelor diploma: bachelor of minimum 3 years, In some cases applicants cannot be admitted directly to a master programme, but have to do a specific preparatory or linking course (between 45 and 90 ECTS credits) first, depending on their previous studies, English Language Requirement:TOEFL-TEST with a score of 510-559 (paper-based), or 72-94 (internet-based) or higher, IELTS with a minimum overall band score of 6.0, B2-certificate ITACE for students (Interuniversity test of academic English), awarded by the Ghent University Language Centre, B2-certificate from a university language centre, Final test certificate from the course Practical English 5 or English for Written Academic Purposes awarded by the UCT, Certificate B2 First, Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) with a score of 59-75
