The master identifies the domain-specific values (the artistic/aesthetic, scientific, historical, folkloristic, industrial archeological, spatially structuring and other socio-cultural values of public interest) of heritage. The master autonomously identifies problems in heritage care (such as conservation, revaluation, restoration, opening up, reallocation, management and maintenance).The master analyses the available sources and uses common/established methods to investigate heritage and also relies on auxiliary sciences to do so.The master reflects critically on current heritage problems and participates in the heritage discourse on the national and international domain of heritage.
Should have academic bachelor and/or master in conservation-restoration, 120 ECTS-credits,Either you have completed and passed at least one complete year (or 60 credits) of courses taught in Dutch at a secondary school, university college or university, a color copy of a valid passport or identity card, a curriculum vitae, a motivation letter, a color copy of an original degree certificate with a translation in Dutch, French, German or English if the degree is drawn up in another language, a copy of the original academic transcripts and course descriptions with a translation in Dutch, French, German or English if they are drawn up in another language, for admission in Dutch programmes: a Dutch language certificate indicating the level or the acceptance letter of a registration in a Dutch language course or test, for admission in English programmes: an English language certificate indicating the level.
