The general purpose of the Master in Occupational Medicine is, through efficient use of different educational means, to train students into occupational physicians as critical reflective practioners, who:know the impact of work on health and vice versa, in order to function as occupational prevention advisor, with the specific task of promoting, protecting and safeguarding the health and the well being of employees in and through their work;use an evidenced-based mind-broadening, methodical and problemsolving approach when performing their professional tasks and adopt an attitude of lifelong learning;
