The master has a specialized and in depth knowledge of a number of central themes and questions in different disciplines of systematic philosophy and of the main international debates on the subject. The master has thorough insight in the mutual relations between the main philosophical disciplines and methods.The master can independently analyse philosophical texts, interpret them, place them in their historical, social and cultural context and critically evaluate them.The master can independently clarify philosophical problems, critically evaluate convictions, points of view and theories and test the validity, the rationality and the reasonableness of arguments.

Should have academic bachelor of philosophy; NL: bachelor philosophy, 60 ECTS-credits, Either you have completed and passed at least one complete year (or 60 credits) of courses taught in Dutch at a secondary school, university college or university, a color copy of a valid passport or identity card, a curriculum vitae, a motivation letter, a color copy of an original degree certificate with a translation in Dutch, French, German or English if the degree is drawn up in another language, a copy of the original academic transcripts and course descriptions with a translation in Dutch, French, German or English if they are drawn up in another language, for admission in Dutch programmes: a Dutch language certificate indicating the level or the acceptance letter of a registration in a Dutch language course or test, for admission in English programmes: an English language certificate indicating the level, Minimum proficiency level of Dutch: IU Language Test level C1 or CNVT: Profile Academic Language Proficiency (up until 2014) or Profile Educational Professional
