Program Overview

The Master possesses deeper knowledge of and insight into the structures, methodology and systematics of Belgian, European and international law and of the foundations of law.The Master is able to formulate a research question independently, prepare and implement a research plan and evaluate research results critically at a level appropriate to a beginning researcher.The Master is aware of the continuous development of the law and follows the developments of legislation, jurisdiction and doctrine in the studied legal domains.The Master possesses knowledge of and insight into other legal systems and legal comparative methods.

Additional Information & Requirements

Should have: diploma Bachelor of Law, Professional bachelor business management, option law practise after succeeding in the bridging programma of law, 120 ECTS-credits, Either you have completed and passed at least one complete year (or 60 credits) of courses taught in Dutch at a secondary school, university college or university, a color copy of a valid passport or identity card, a curriculum vitae, a motivation letter, a color copy of an original degree certificate with a translation in Dutch, French, German or English if the degree is drawn up in another language, a copy of the original academic transcripts and course descriptions with a translation in Dutch, French, German or English if they are drawn up in another language, for admission in Dutch programmes: a Dutch language certificate indicating the level or the acceptance letter of a registration in a Dutch language course or test, for admission in English programmes: an English language certificate indicating the level, Minimum proficiency level of Dutch: IU Language Test level C1 or CNVT: Profile Academic Language Proficiency (up until 2014) or Profile Educational Professional
