Program Overview

The overall aim of this programme is to train students to conduct research in an academic or industrial setting. Hence, it does not provide preparation for a teaching career. Upon completion of the programme, students should be able to explore specific and advanced chemistry topics, formulate research questions, report on their findings and collaborate with fellow students. Students apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired in the Master s thesis by identifying a research question, situating it in its proper chemical and social context and designing a study that addresses this research question
