Program Overview

The Master is able to independently situate and evaluate a scientific problem and to formulate a question. He/she has the knowledge and skills to answer these questions within the context of the current level of scientific knowledge.His/her scientific knowledge allows the Master to draft a problem solving strategy of theoretical calculations and/or experiments. He/she has the skills to execute this systematically.The Master is able to independently perform scientific research at the level of junior researcher and so develop and sharpen his/her research skills. Alternatively, the Master can independently use his/her scientific knowledge at the level of a junior professional and autonomously acquire additional insights and skills that are relevant to the situation.

Additional Information & Requirements

Should have academic bachelor of chemistry, 120 ECTS-credits,Either you have completed and passed at least one complete year (or 60 credits) of courses taught in Dutch at a secondary school, university college or university,a color copy of a valid passport or identity card, a curriculum vitae, a motivation letter, a color copy of an original degree certificate with a translation in Dutch, French, German or English if the degree is drawn up in another language, a copy of the original academic transcripts and course descriptions with a translation in Dutch, French, German or English if they are drawn up in another language, for admission in Dutch programmes: a Dutch language certificate indicating the level or the acceptance letter of a registration in a Dutch language course or test, for admission in English programmes: an English language certificate indicating the level,Students interested in taking a programme taught in English, have to prove proficiency in English.Candidates can prove their proficiency in English in three ways. Either by submitting a language certificate:ITACE (Interuniversity Test of Academic English for Students), TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language): paper-based TOEFL level of minimum 550, a computer-based TOEFL level of minimum 213 or an internet-based TOEFL level of minimum 80. IELTS (International English Language Testing System): a minimum score of at least 6.5, and on each part minimum 6.0. or by submitting proof they have studied at least one academic year (or 60 ECTS credits) in an English-language Bachelor or Master programme, GMAT or GRE can be requested
