The aim of the program is to accumulate a deeper understanding of the knowledge and competences needed in business administration and taxation. The general goal is the development of tax consultants, who are specialised in the complex aspects of (international) tax and who are able to assist large companies.The MSc in Complementary Studies in Business Economics, Main Subject 'Taxation' aims at a career as tax consultant, accountant, fiscal lawyer, auditor or as executive in the private sector or government. The program is tailored to the admission test of tax consultant.

Holders of an appropriate Belgian academic bachelor degree, Holders of a foreign university bachelor degree or higher education bachelor diploma: bachelor of minimum 3 years, In some cases applicants cannot be admitted directly to a master programme, but have to do a specific preparatory or linking course (between 45 and 90 ECTS credits) first, depending on their previous studies, English Language Requirement:TOEFL-TEST with a score of 560-676 (paper-based), or 95-119 (internet-based) or higher, IELTS with a minimum overall band score of 7.0 or higher, C1-certificate ITACE for students (Interuniversity test of academic English), awarded by the Ghent University Language Centre, C1-certificate from a university language centreCambridge-ESOL: Certificate in Advanced English (CAE), Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) with a score of 76-84
