The master knows of the basic concepts, theories, findings, methods and scientific discussions in film studies and visual studies and is able to recognise, identify and define these. The master knows the most important stylistic paradigms, the technological developments and the social impact of film throughout the history of film and is able to recognise, identify and define these.
Should have all academic bachelor- and masterdiplomas. Students with a professional bachelor diploma who have successfully completed the bridging programme Film studies and Visual culture, 60 ECTS-credits,Either you have completed and passed at least one complete year (or 60 credits) of courses taught in Dutch at a secondary school, university college or university, a color copy of a valid passport or identity card, a curriculum vitae, a motivation letter, a color copy of an original degree certificate with a translation in Dutch, French, German or English if the degree is drawn up in another language, a copy of the original academic transcripts and course descriptions with a translation in Dutch, French, German or English if they are drawn up in another language, for admission in Dutch programmes: a Dutch language certificate indicating the level or the acceptance letter of a registration in a Dutch language course or test, for admission in English programmes: an English language certificate indicating the level.
