The Graduate Program in Ecology of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (PPGE-UFRJ) was created by the Institute of Biology in 1990, with the Master's degree, and in 1995 implemented the Doctorate. It has an ambitious mission: to embrace the variety of approaches to science from ecology, from genes to ecosystems, and at the same time to build bridges between these approaches, integrating them and developing ecological theory.

Completed Electronic form; Letter of introduction issued by the Brazilian Diplomatic Mission after approval by Celpe-Bras; Birth or Marriage Certificate (original and copy); School record and Certificate of Completion of Bachelor degree or equivalent: original and translated (if not in Portuguese); Registration Agreement Term (TCM) and Financial Responsibility Term (TRF): Originals in 2 copies of each term with issue date less than 3 months from the date of registration at UFRJ; Statement by the source of scholarship or school credit of the Government of your country, indicating the amounts and duration of the benefit(original and copy); Physical and mental health certificate issued in the last 90 days; Certificate of approval at Celpe-Bras, when applicable (original and copy); Passport (original and copy); Updated student visa (VITEM-IV) (original and copy); Proof or protocol of registration in the Register of Individuals (CPF); 2 photos size 3x4 cm.
