Program Overview

The PGGen-UFRJ course presents a comprehensive, integrated and innovative proposal for the training of human resources and the production of scientific knowledge at international level. One of the goals of the course is to develop and foster basic research and technological innovation in the field of human and environmental health, contributing to the solution of problems and demands of society. These objectives are achieved with courses at two sensu strictu postgraduate levels, the masters and the doctorate. A major investment in the absorption of recent PhDs for postdoctoral studies has been made in the Program, an area that has been assuming greater relevance in recent years.

Completed Electronic form; Letter of introduction issued by the Brazilian Diplomatic Mission after approval by Celpe-Bras; Birth or Marriage Certificate (original and copy); School record and Certificate of Completion of Bachelor degree or equivalent: original and translated (if not in Portuguese); Registration Agreement Term (TCM) and Financial Responsibility Term (TRF): Originals in 2 copies of each term with issue date less than 3 months from the date of registration at UFRJ; Statement by the source of scholarship or school credit of the Government of your country, indicating the amounts and duration of the benefit(original and copy); Physical and mental health certificate issued in the last 90 days; Certificate of approval at Celpe-Bras, when applicable (original and copy); Passport (original and copy); Updated student visa (VITEM-IV) (original and copy); Proof or protocol of registration in the Register of Individuals (CPF); 2 photos size 3x4 cm.
