Program Overview

The Interdisciplinary Academic Master in Applied Physics has 30 faculty members, working in three areas of concentration: medical and biological physics, materials and instrumentation science, computational modeling and complex systems; 30 research projects and associated laboratories at the Institute of Physics, at the Institute of Chemistry-UFRJ, at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences-UFRJ, at the Alberto Luiz Coimbra Institute for Graduate Studies and Engineering Research at COPPE-UFRJ, at the National Center for Bioimaging ( Cenabio-UFRJ) and the Institute of Economics-UFRJ.

Completed Electronic form; Letter of introduction issued by the Brazilian Diplomatic Mission after approval by Celpe-Bras; Birth or Marriage Certificate (original and copy); School record and Certificate of Completion of Bachelor degree or equivalent: original and translated (if not in Portuguese); Registration Agreement Term (TCM) and Financial Responsibility Term (TRF): Originals in 2 copies of each term with issue date less than 3 months from the date of registration at UFRJ; Statement by the source of scholarship or school credit of the Government of your country, indicating the amounts and duration of the benefit(original and copy); Physical and mental health certificate issued in the last 90 days; Certificate of approval at Celpe-Bras, when applicable (original and copy); Passport (original and copy); Updated student visa (VITEM-IV) (original and copy); Proof or protocol of registration in the Register of Individuals (CPF); 2 photos size 3x4 cm.
