Program Overview

The Queen s MSc in Accounting program is designed for people intending to pursue doctoral (PhD) studies in accounting. It is not appropriate for people who intend to pursue professional accounting practice or consulting. The program provides an advanced conceptual foundation in accounting that allows for the pursuit of highly-focused research. Students will receive exposure to a broad range of accounting research and gain experience in the process of conducting research in their own areas of interest.

"A relevant undergraduate degree from a recognized university with minimum average of B+ (77-79%, 3.3/4.3 GPA), a copy of transcripts (official or unofficial) showing completion of, or current enrolment in university level courses (or equivalents).Applicants must be able to demonstrate that their previous academic experience has provided the ""enabling competencies"" as set out by the CPA Canada. a minimum TOEFL total score of 600 (paper-based) or TOEFL iBT minimum scores of: writing (24/30); speaking (22/30); reading (22/30); listening (20/30), for a total of 88/122"
