Educational Practice MEd

2 Years On Campus Masters Program

Simon Fraser University Surrey

Program Overview

The master of education in educational practice (MEd) is a professional degree that is available on completion of the two-year graduate diploma in advanced professional studies in education. Students wishing to engage in this third year of study may seek admission to the program after successful completion of the graduate diploma in education. This program provides the opportunity for teacher-learners to extend the work undertaken in the GDE by broadening and deepening their understandings of educational theory, research and practice. This program is offered at SFU campuses in the Lower Mainland and other areas of British Columbia, where there is a sufficient concentration of qualified applicants. Specific locations for the programs in the Lower Mainland are determined by proximity to admissible applicants.
