Graduate students studying Classics at Queen's become part of our legacy of being one of the first departments in the University's long and rich history; Classics at Queen's has been in existence since 1842. We invite you to share in our tradition of over 170 continuous years of instruction in Greek and Latin, and to deepen your passion for the ancient world. Because our graduate program is small, we are able to provide our students with individual attention and support. As a result, our students consistently win both internal and external awards and fellowships. Our faculty members have expertise in Greek and Roman archaeology, history, language and literature, so your research opportunities are vast and varied

"A relevant undergraduate degree from a recognized university with minimum average of B+ (77-79%, 3.3/4.3 GPA), a copy of transcripts (official or unofficial) showing completion of, or current enrolment in university level courses (or equivalents).Applicants must be able to demonstrate that their previous academic experience has provided the ""enabling competencies"" as set out by the CPA Canada. a minimum TOEFL total score of 600 (paper-based) or TOEFL iBT minimum scores of: writing (24/30); speaking (22/30); reading (22/30); listening (20/30), for a total of 88/122"
