The History course offers a huge range of options that span three millennia and circle the globe. In fact, you have the opportunity to investigate practically any period or aspect of history that interests you. The Department of History offers graduate research leading to a master of arts (MA) degree. The major study areas are the Americas, Asia, Canada, Europe, and the Middle East. The History degree gives you the opportunity to explore the past from many different angles including political, economic, social and cultural history and to explore the interaction between history and other disciplines, such as politics, anthropology and archaeology. There s ample scope throughout to pursue personal interests and experiment with different historical approaches.

A 4-year bachelor s degree with a minimum overall grade of B, First Class or First Division in all degrees, GPA of 3.33 (on a scale of 0.0-4.33) or the equivalent, First Class or First Division in all degrees, TOEFL ibT of 93 with minimum of 20 in each category, IELTS of overall band score of 7.0 of the academic (NOT general) test with a minimum of 6.5 in each section
