Students intending to complete the doctor of medicine program are required to complete a bachelor s degree, six credit hours in English and the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT). The undergraduate degree can be in any discipline. All applicants are screened by an admissions committee that considers academic performance, scores on the MCAT, references, interviews (in some cases), extra-curricular activities, volunteer and/or work experience and any other relevant information. Minimum score of 24 on the IB Diploma with completion of the required subject areas or completion of another recognized High School diploma program. IELTS: A minimum overall band score of 6.5, with at least a band 6 in reading and writing. TOEFL: A minimum score of 550 on the paper-based test, or 79 on the internet-based TOEFL (iBT) with a minimum score of 20 in reading and writing, and not less than 17 in listening and speaking.
