Program Overview

The MPH program has two streams: Nutrition/Dietetics and Population/Public Health. The Nutrition/Dietetics stream involves courses, a research project, and an internship, and can be completed in two years of full-time study. The Population/Public Health stream involves courses and a capstone research project or practicum and can be completed in one year of full-time study. The MSc (Med) program involves courses and a thesis and can be completed in two years of full-time study.

Additional Information & Requirements

Bachelor's degree (minimum second class) in an appropriate area of study. Bachelor's degree with a minimum average of 75% over the last 2 years of full-time study. Applicants must also have successfully completed an undergraduate statistics course and an undergraduate dietetics program accredited by Dietitians of Canada. IELTS: A minimum overall band score of 6.5, with at least a band 6 in reading and writing. TOEFL: A minimum score of 550 on the paper-based test, or 79 on the internet-based TOEFL (iBT) with a minimum score of 20 in reading and writing, and not less than 17 in listening and speaking.
