Program Overview

Offered at the Longueuil Campus on a part-time and full-time basis, the MSc in Addiction Intervention aims to train specialized practitioners able to work with people at risk of presenting or presenting complex problems in the field of addiction.For persons holding an undergraduate degree in a discipline related to intervention in human, social or health sciences who have had at least six months of experience in the field of intervention in addiction or in a related field (eg, mental health). People who do not have this experience can benefit from a propaedeutics under which an internship in intervention is proposed to them.

16 years of schooling in a suitable field of study, Bachelor Degree or equivalent, Letters of recommendation, Letter of interest, Resume, Official transcripts,TOEFL: minimum 100 (iBT) with a minimum of 20 on each section, IELTS: at least 7 (general scores) with a minimum of 6.5 on each section, TOEIC: have obtained a minimum of 850, Successful completion of the Written French Test (TFE) or Uniform Test of French, Language of Instruction (EUL) at the college level approved by the Quebec Ministry responsible for Graduate Studies
