This program offers two streams: mathematics and operations research. The mathematics stream consists of courses and a thesis, or a project, for a minimum of 30 units. The operations research stream consists of courses and a thesis for a minimum of 30 units. Mathematics is at the heart of advances in science, engineering and technology, as well as being an indispensable problem-solving and decision-making tool in many other areas of life. This MSc course enables you to delve deeply into particular aspects of pure and applied mathematics, through a wide choice of modules in fascinating areas such as fractal geometry, coding theory and analytic theory.

A 4-year bachelor s degree with a minimum overall grade of B, First Class or First Division in all degrees, GPA of 3.3 (on a scale of 0.0-4.33) or the equivalent, First Class or First Division in all degrees, TOEFL ibT of 93 with minimum of 20 in each category, IELTS of overall band score of 7.0 of the academic (NOT general) test with a minimum of 6.5 in each section
