Program Overview

The M.A. program is a 12 month program. It is unique amongst Canadian M.A. programs designed to be completed in one year: students have the opportunity to explore their interests through both graduate seminars and Directed Studies courses (completed over the Fall and Winter terms), and an M.A. thesis on a topic of their own choosing, written under the supervision of a Faculty member over the Spring and Summer terms, and defended at the end of the summer or in the very early Fall.

"A relevant undergraduate degree from a recognized university with minimum average of B+ (77-79%, 3.3/4.3 GPA), a copy of transcripts (official or unofficial) showing completion of, or current enrolment in university level courses (or equivalents).Applicants must be able to demonstrate that their previous academic experience has provided the ""enabling competencies"" as set out by the CPA Canada. a minimum TOEFL total score of 600 (paper-based) or TOEFL iBT minimum scores of: writing (24/30); speaking (22/30); reading (22/30); listening (20/30), for a total of 88/122"
