Social workers make a difference in peoples lives. They are not only concerned with helping individuals but also with broader social issues such as poverty, unemployment and domestic violence. Our accredited master s program prepares students for leadership roles in their communities and in the profession. It encourages critical thinking and analysis of structural barriers that prevent people from reaching their full potential; promote values of respect, dignity and the worth of all people; and assist students in acquiring knowledge, skills and values to work in diverse and cross-cultural environments. We offer a one year option for candidates with a Bachelor of Social Work and a two year option for candidates with an honours degree in a discipline other than social work.

4-year (honours) bachelor s degree, B+ / First class division in your major subjects, B- or better overall, Official Transcript , TOEFL ibT of 86 (20 in reading and listening; 22 in speaking and writing), CAEL of 70, IELTS (Academic) of 6.5 IELTS (min 6.0 in each band), PTE Academic of 60 overall (min 60 in each Communicative Skill)
