Program Overview

The MSc program involves courses and a thesis and can be completed in two years of full-time study. A strategic goal of the Department is to provide high-quality educational and training opportunities, particularly at the graduate level. Our graduate students are engaged in a variety of research areas, include physiology, biochemistry, and molecular biology; biological and chemical oceanography; behavioural and population ecology; and aquaculture and fisheries.

Additional Information & Requirements

Bachelor's degree (minimum second class) in an appropriate area of study, an honours degree would be an asset. IELTS: A minimum overall band score of 6.5, with at least a band 6 in reading and writing. TOEFL: A minimum score of 550 on the paper-based test, or 79 on the internet-based TOEFL (iBT) with a minimum score of 20 in reading and writing, and not less than 17 in listening and speaking.
