Program Overview

Both theoretical and practical training in master's courses in geographic sciences provides a better understanding of the fundamentals, issues and applications of geographic sciences and geomatics technologies. Students also develop specific research skills and begin specialization. This 45-credit program leads to the degree of Master of Science (MSc) and includes three research-type pathways and one course-type pathway.Research expertise of recognized faculty throughout the world.Center for Remote Sensing Applications and Research (CARTEL) and Canada Research Chair in Earth Observation and Phytoplankton Ecophysiology.Specific studies projects allowing the analysis of real situations focused on environmental issues.
