Program Overview

You ll join a group of 65 students supervised by more than 30 professors whose area of expertise is linked to research institutes including the City Institute, Global Labour Research Center, the Centre for Refugee Studies, the Centre for Feminist Research, York Centre for Asian Research, and the Centre for Research on Latin America & the Caribbean. All of our graduate student receive financial support in the form of an assistantship. Most of our students also receive support for their fieldwork from graduate faculty members' research grants.

Should have Certified copy of your orginal diploma, Certified copy of your complete list of grades, a minimum, an Honours undergraduate degree or equivalent (typically a four-year full-time program), English Proficiency Requirements:IELTS: score of 7.5 , TOEFL ibt:score of 600 (paper based)or 100 (internet based),YELT- Band 1, YUELI Level 6 with Distinction; a MELAB overall score of 85 with no component score less than 80, a CAEL overall score of 70 with no component score less than 60, a minimum CPE score of C, a minimum CAE score of B, recommendation letters in sealed envelopes 2, Statement of research interests, Resum or CV
