The MA CCP Program is primarily for students who are interested in working as researchers or practitioners in a variety of clinical and counselling settings. The Clinical & Counselling Psychology (CCP) field is based on a bio psycho social model with an emphasis on diversity and focuses on assessment and the treatment of psychopathology in adults. This program enables students to apply for registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO) as a Psychological Associate. It also fulfils the requirements of students who plan to apply to the PhD program, Clinical and Counselling Psychology field. Training is sequential and the MA and PhD programs are designed and intended to be one coherent program.
A 4-year bachelor s degree in psychology, or equivalent degree, with a standing grade equivalent to a University of Toronto A- or better in the final year, GPA of B+, TOEFL ibT of 93 with 22 in writing and speaking, MELAB of 85, IELTS of 7.0 (Academic)with at least 6.5 for each component, COPE of 76 (with at least 22 in each component and 32 in the writing component), International ESL Program- a final grade of B in Level 60, Academic transcripts, 2 Recommendation letters, CV, Evidence of relevant research experience, A History of Psychology, Statement of Intent
