Program Overview

The MEd program involves systematic reflection on research and practice, providing you with knowledge about general learning and teaching, early childhood education and special needs education in both formal and informal settings. DPE can help you begin a career in university or college-level teaching or in research, or advance your current career with a graduate degree. The Developmental Psychology & Education (DPE) Program is for those who wish to construct an overall perspective of developmental psychology, human development and mental health by integrating theory and practice. Students will understand the implications of these areas for practice with children in educational and other applied settings.

Additional Information & Requirements

An appropriate honours bachelor s degree (4-year) in psychology or equivalent with standing equivalent to a University of Toronto mid-B or better in the final year or over senior courses, GPA of B+, TOEFL ibT of 93 with 22 in writing and speaking, MELAB of 85, IELTS of 7.0 (Academic)with at least 6.5 for each component, COPE of 76 (with at least 22 in each component and 32 in the writing component), International ESL Program- a final grade of B in Level 60, Academic transcripts, 2 Recommendation letters, CV
