Program Overview

Graduates of the MEd in Global Mental Health & Counselling Psychology (GMHCP) Program will understand the cutting-edge theory and practice of psychology and mental health in international settings. This field is directed to international practitioners. The program will not lead to registration as a Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, nor will it provide registration with the College of Psychotherapists in Ontario (CRPO).

Additional Information & Requirements

An appropriate bachelor s degree of any background or discipline, with a grade equivalent to a University of Toronto B+ or better in the final year or over senior courses, from a recognized university, GPA of B+, TOEFL ibT of 93 with 22 in writing and speaking, MELAB of 85, IELTS of 7.0 (Academic)with at least 6.5 for each component, COPE of 76 (with at least 22 in each component and 32 in the writing component), International ESL Program- a final grade of B in Level 60, Academic transcripts, 2 Recommendation letters, CV, Interview
