The primary focus of the department is to educate our students to strengthen the backbone of the Tea Industries and to add performance for the overall growth of them. The course curriculum and research programmes have been introduced in an updated version of Tea Science to meet the present needs.The course covers inheritance characteristics, varieties status quo and improving technologies, and propagation of tea plant as well. The course will also lay out the new variety resources and its improving requirements.
