Package and Environment Engineering was established as a secondary master major subordinate to the first class doctoral discipline of Environment Science and Technology. The major aims at cultivating high-level talents urgently needed in fields of Green Packaging and Product Package Design. Students are required to have solid theoretical basis in areas of Package and Environment Engineering such as the research on Green Packaging Material like Biodegradable Packaging Material, Natural Macromolecular Composite Material and Water-Based Ink, Life-Cycle Assessment of Packaging Material, Packaging Cushion System Design, Lightweight Packaging Design, Intelligent Packaging Technology, etc.
