Other professionals whose study plans seen in the undergraduate program have the subjects, intensity and contents that the Postgraduate Advisory Committee considers that they meet the minimum requirements to develop the Master successfully and that are authorized by the Council of the Faculty of Engineering.

To train researchers to solve problems in the materials and processes sector, through their participation in the development of Research and Development R&D projects and through the completion of an individual thesis that represents an original technological contribution.Graduates of the program must be able to use a high level of theory and practical ability to pose and solve problems in materials, conduct research in materials engineering, either autonomously that is, in their performance as a teacher or as a consultants, and start their doctoral studies.
